The Spokane, WA Narcotics Anonymous holds its activities meetings on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month at 5:30 pm. We also have a fund raising committee on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 5:45 pm. And for anyone that needs to attend our Public Relations Committee, we always hold it on the last Saturday of every month, with Orientation starting at 11 am and the Meeting starting at 11:30.
We have more, however, in the surrounding areas for our members to engage and participate with NA members. With events happening in Colville, Ritzville, Newport, Clarkston, Davenport, and several locations next door in Idaho, plenty is going on to help provide you with a new perspective and ways to help your recovery. Some events include “Willing Addicts in Recovery”, “Never Alone,” “Down Payment on Life,” and “Recovery Quest.”
These events range from meetings that are for addicts only, candlelight events, handicap accessible, events with speakers, and meetings for literature study and in-depth analysis of the 12 Steps and the Traditions of NA. These meetings generally last for an hour to an hour and a half.
We encourage members to participate in service work. We believe it not only helps us keep clean, but it’s a chance also to do good for the community while doing good for ourselves. It is important to have engaging activities to keep us on the right path and keep us away from the drugs that almost brought ruin to our lives.
By actively searching for good things to do, things that bring accomplishment to our lives, we can find means to overcome the temptation of drugs and the disease of drug addiction.
If you are interested, we encourage you to attend our Area Service Committee meetings as well as the Sub-committee meetings to learn more. Every first Saturday of each month at 9:30 am, the Area Service Committee meets.
